2. Purpose of the website
NPS DENT is an electronic catalogue of dental equipment, instruments and supplies with a product request system. Visitors can view products, specifications and prices and express an interest in purchasing. No online payment is made and the website does not collect bank card details.
3. Sending and confirming a request
Select products and quantities, enter contact details and accept these terms. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt only; it does not confirm availability, acceptance of a sale or payment. NPS DENT will telephone you to agree the products, quantities, availability, final price, delivery, timescale and payment method. A sale is confirmed after explicit agreement with the customer. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable to distance contracts where relevant.
4. Consumers and professional customers
Consumers, professional customers and legal entities may use the site. Mandatory consumer protection rules apply to customers acting as consumers under applicable law. Professional purchases are governed by applicable law and agreed conditions. Products must be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions; professional-use devices are intended for qualified professionals.
5. Product information
The trader takes reasonable care to maintain accurate names, characteristics, photographs, prices, models or SKUs, specifications, package contents and warranty information where relevant. Illustrative images do not change agreed specifications. Please request clarification of any model or package before confirming.
6. Prices
Prices are in euros. Where VAT applies, the price payable by a consumer includes VAT. Delivery charges are agreed separately where not included. Price changes apply to future requests. The final price and additional charges for a particular request are agreed before confirmation; a change or correction of an obvious error will not apply without the customer's agreement.
7. Availability
Being able to send a request does not guarantee stock availability. Availability is confirmed when the request is processed. If unavailable, the customer is informed and may select an alternative or proposed timescale. No substitution is made without agreement.
8. Delivery
The delivery method, address, timescale and charge are agreed before fulfilment. A courier or another agreed method may be used. Mandatory statutory deadlines are respected. Specific couriers, rates and geographical restrictions await confirmation before the main website launches.
9. Payment arrangements
No online payment is made through the website. The payment method and timing are agreed during confirmation. Cash on delivery, bank transfer or another method may be used only when specifically agreed for the sale. A request and automatic email are not evidence of payment.
10. Withdrawal, returns and complaints
Where the customer is a consumer and the sale is a distance contract, statutory withdrawal rights, periods and exceptions apply. Professional customers are governed by applicable law and expressly agreed terms. The detailed procedure, returns address and return cost information must be completed and supplied before a contract is concluded. This draft does not impose a blanket exclusion of returns for dental products.
11. Conformity and warranties
Mandatory consumer rights regarding non-conformity remain unaffected. A product's commercial warranty does not replace or restrict those rights. 14. Updates
