2. Unconfirmed requests
You may ask to change or withdraw an unconfirmed request by email or telephone, quoting its number. Confirmed sales are subject to agreed terms and mandatory statutory rights.
3. Consumer withdrawal
For an applicable distance contract, a consumer generally has 14 days from receipt by the consumer or a designated third party other than the carrier to withdraw without a reason. Send a clear notice before the deadline, for example by email. Return goods without undue delay and within 14 days of notifying withdrawal. Direct return costs may be charged to the consumer only if properly disclosed beforehand.
4. Refunds
For valid withdrawal, amounts owed, including standard initial delivery, are refunded within 14 days of notification. Extra charges for a more expensive selected delivery method are excluded. Refunds may be withheld until goods or evidence of return are received, whichever occurs first. The original payment method is used unless another cost-free method is agreed. Liability for diminished value applies only to handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning.
5. Exceptions and business purchases
Exceptions apply only where statutory conditions are met, for example sealed goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons. There is no blanket exclusion for dental products. Statutory consumer withdrawal does not automatically apply to professional purchases; applicable law and agreed conditions govern them.
6. Defects and complaints
Withdrawal is separate from rights concerning defects or non-conformity. Supply the product, request/order reference, date, problem description and available evidence. Mandatory consumer remedies apply and are not restricted by commercial warranties. Do not ship used or contaminated instruments without first agreeing safe transport arrangements.
